Idaho Mastiff Rescue, Inc. assists dogs that have been neglected, abused, or surrendered by their current owner. We assist in rehoming dogs. We also work with a select few animal shelters from out of state, trying to save dogs that are at risk of being euthanized. As due diligence, we request all known history, medical notes, and shelter notes for each dog. (We do not accept any dogs with a history of aggression or a bite history.) All dogs that are pulled, or transferred from an animal shelter to our rescue are vaccinated, have a rabies certificate, are spay/neutered, and are micro-chipped. There is a lot of stress, hard work, time, money, and emotion that goes into shelter transfers. Everything moves quickly. We need dependable, flexible, and committed volunteers/ fosters to help these dogs transition from a shelter environment to a home environment. If you can assist with fostering please reach out to us. Due to the amount of stress involved in extended transports, we will only help organize transport to neighboring states.
We promote spa/neuter to reduce the pet population and encourage keeping vaccinations current.

Otto
OMG! Check out Otto! He is a 1.5 yo handsome Bullmastiff. He is neutered and UTD on shots. He needs to be with a young, active family with another dog. He loves females! He does great with kids as well. He is strong and still working on his manners so will need a family familiar with large breed. He will excel in a home where someone is home quite a bit of the time. Currently located in Seattle WA.

Suki is a beautiful 4 yo Bullmastiff that is absolutely awesome. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She has been Callie most of her life, and would like to stay together, if possible. She is currently located in New Plymouth ID.

Elsa
Adoption- pending*******Elsa is a stunning fawn Cane Corso. We save her from a high-kill shelter and transported her to Boise. She seems so lost…and like she is looking for somebody. It’s heart breaking. We believe she recently had pups.We suspect she may have been abused by a male and she flinches whenever a man moves quickly. She did great with meet and greets with other dogs while at the shelter, but needs time to decompress and start trusting humans before introductions. She loves to curl up at yur feet and just hang with you. She is great with kids. Cats unknown. She will blossom into an amzing companion for someone who is patient and can show her love and not just abandone her. She is currently in Boise ID. This poor girl needs a loving family immediately. Molly is almost 3 yo. She is a Corso/Neapolitan mix.. She is currently being fostered in Boise ID. She is spayed, UTD of shots, housebroken, and learning her commands. She does good with children and cats. She does ok with female dogs, but not so good with male. Her foster has made great progress with her andshe is eager to learn. Loves cuddles and being with her people. She absolutely gorgeous! Molly will thrive as your “one and only!” Adoption fee $400

Tink is a 9 mos old Neapolitan/Mastiff . He is a very snuggly and loving pup who wants to be around his people. He is neutereed and UTD on shots. He was raised with other dogs, but started getting jealous, and not wanting to share his humans. Tink will thrive in where he is your one and only. We do believe that with patience and slow introductions he will be able to curb these adolescent behaviors. Prior large breed experience preferred to ensure consisitent training and socialization. He is currently in Meridian ID and ready to be the best companion ever!

His foster has a cat, and there were no issues. Bruno will thrive with a family that is moderately active, has other dogs and that is home most of the time.
